Specimens and bonuses
The cabinet catalog contains 24 specimen entries. Each has a name, cabinet position, research value and rarity field. The decoded needle-effect table attaches a named bonus and numerical modifiers to each specimen.
Rarity is contextual
A catalog value such as one in 2 does not establish a 50% chance on every action. Pool selection, progression and runtime logic can matter; the wiki has not measured live drop rates.
Pick a useful effectInferred tip
Compare a specimen bonus with the part of your routine that currently takes the most time. Digging efficiency may matter more during manual collection, while belt or machine speed may become more relevant once a factory is running. This is a strategy inference, not an optimized build.
